About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Pre-screen patients for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections
Use aseptic injection techniques
Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
Communicate effectively with customers and/or radiologists
Train new technologists and/or PC's
Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment including monitors and PACS
Interpret physician orders/instructions and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters
Deliver imaging care in freestanding outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital-based/inpatient facilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Registered Computed Tomography Technologists by the ARRT
Certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry if allowable by state where service is provided
State license
Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
CPR certification
Technologists performing mid-day moves
Active State Driver’s License
Strong customer service skills
Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen
