About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pre-screen patients for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections
  • Use aseptic injection techniques
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
  • Communicate effectively with customers and/or radiologists
  • Train new technologists and/or PC's
  • Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment including monitors and PACS
  • Interpret physician orders/instructions and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters
  • Deliver imaging care in freestanding outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital-based/inpatient facilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Registered Computed Tomography Technologists by the ARRT
  • Certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry if allowable by state where service is provided
  • State license
  • Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
  • CPR certification
  • Technologists performing mid-day moves
  • Active State Driver’s License
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
  • The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen
