About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Pre-screen patients for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections
- Use aseptic injection techniques
- Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
- Communicate effectively with customers and/or radiologists
- Train new technologists and/or PC's
- Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment including monitors and PACS
- Interpret physician orders/instructions and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters
- Deliver imaging care in freestanding outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital-based/inpatient facilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Registered Computed Tomography Technologists by the ARRT
- Certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry if allowable by state where service is provided
- State license
- Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
- CPR certification
- Technologists performing mid-day moves
- Active State Driver’s License
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen
