About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique
- May oversee a remote MR Technologist Assistant
- Produce high-quality diagnostic MR images
- Operate multiple MR systems as required
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers
- Address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict through all communication channels
- Train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants on site and/or remotely
- Perform duties in mobile environments when applicable
- Travel locally as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT
- State license, if applicable
- CPR Certification
- Valid state driver’s license, as applicable
- Technologists registered in other modalities: 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience OR currently enrolled for more than 6 months in an accredited MRI training program
- MR registered technologist RT(MR) or ARMRIT: No experience required
- Ability to work at several locations
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- Local travel may be required
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT
- Preferred: 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, perform repetitive movement, see, speak, hear, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb, balance, carry, and lift/transfer non-ambulatory patients
- May be required to meet COVID-19 vaccination condition of employment
