About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections
- Use aseptic injection techniques
- Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
- Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists
- Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators
- Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment, including monitors and PACS
- Perform technologist mid-day moves
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Registered Computed Tomography Technologist by the ARRT
- NMTCB Computed Tomography certification acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry where allowable by state
- State license
- Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
- CPR certification
- Active State Driver’s License
- Strong customer service skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen required
