About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections
Use aseptic injection techniques
Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists
Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators
Troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment, including monitors and PACS
Perform technologist mid-day moves

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Registered Computed Tomography Technologist by the ARRT
NMTCB Computed Tomography certification acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry where allowable by state
State license
Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable
CPR certification
Active State Driver’s License
Strong customer service skills
Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen required
