About the role

  • Design, build, and deploy backend microservices using Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot.
  • Own features end to end, from API design to deployment.
  • Design and manage database schemas across SQL and NoSQL systems.
  • Improve service performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines to support faster and safer releases.
  • Implement logging, metrics, and tracing for production systems.
  • Support local development using containerized services.
  • Contribute to code standards and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
  • Proven experience building and supporting REST APIs and microservices.
  • Experience working with containers and orchestration platforms.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based application development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
