Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development of new features in Java applications
Assist in bug fixes and in maintaining systems in production
Participate in the development and evolution of REST APIs
Support the evolution of microservices and integrations between internal systems and external partners
Use AI assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar)
Write clear prompts and provide appropriate context to obtain better results from AI tools
Write and execute automated tests with support from analysts
Participate in code reviews and continuously learn from team feedback
Assist in incident investigations, log analysis and troubleshooting in production
Work together with analysts, Product Owners, Technical Lead and other developers
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product
Contribute to advancing the team's use of AI

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expected graduation date: December 2028 or later
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
Knowledge of Programming Logic and Object-Oriented Programming
Basic knowledge of Java
Familiarity with Spring Boot
Familiarity with developing REST APIs
Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
Basic knowledge of Git
Interest in software development using microservices architecture
Familiarity with automated testing
Eagerness to learn, good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Nice to have:
Personal, academic or open-source projects in Java
Knowledge of Spring Boot
Knowledge of Docker
Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP
Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS)
Knowledge of Redis
Knowledge of Python and/or Go
Familiarity with CI/CD
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, CloudWatch, etc.)
Ability to provide appropriate context to AI assistants
