Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Availability for a three-month temporary contract
  • Java 8+
  • Experience with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus, etc.)
  • SOLID principles and Design Patterns
  • Knowledge of SQL (queries and data modeling)
  • Experience with ORM (JPA, Hibernate)
  • Experience with build and dependency management tools (Maven and/or Gradle)
  • Experience with Git
  • Basic Linux environment skills (directory navigation, tail, grep, less, more, curl)
  • Experience with automated testing (JUnit, RestAssured, Mockito, WireMock, etc.)
  • Environment virtualization using containers (Docker)
  • CI/CD (Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.)
  • Experience with NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Experience building APIs and microservices focused on high availability and scalability for enterprise applications
  • Experience developing REST services
  • Spring Framework (MVC, Data, Integration, Security, Cloud, Actuator, Batch, etc.) or another framework for REST services
  • Tomcat application server
  • Experience with distributed systems (microservices)
  • Knowledge of queues, topics and tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
  • Network protocols (transport and application layers)
  • Experience with a cloud environment, e.g.: Amazon AWS (S3, ECR, EC2, ECS, etc.)
