Senior Management Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to IA programs and operations, with particular focus on the TAAMS recompete and eProbate/eNativeTrust modernization efforts.
- Analyze organizational and directorate operational needs to determine requirements as they apply to operational management systems, including TAAMS and related IT platforms.
- Review forms, reports, and internal materials; confer with management and users to promote standardization of format, distribution, and reporting purpose; identify problems and recommend improvements.
- Provide analysis and simplification of reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IA leadership expectations.
- Participate in problem-solving discussions and develop solutions that benefit the organization's internal processes, including transition planning and recompete preparation.
- Apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to support operational and acquisition planning activities.
- Monitor administrative processes for efficiency opportunities and develop recommendations to reduce burden and improve outcomes.
- Research organizations—including vendor landscape—to determine range of activities, leadership structure, and relevant contact information in support of acquisition strategy.
- Conduct capability analyses and provide advice on organizational methods, procedures, and administrative support systems.
- Conduct internal studies and evaluations; recommend work simplification measures; prepare operations manuals and briefing materials to assist IA leadership in operating more efficiently.
- Create, document, and manage a controlled system for information and knowledge management in support of ongoing TAAMS and Probate activities.
- Develop weekly and daily status reports, leadership briefings, and talking points; review emails and internal materials for reporting accuracy.
- Support development of IGEs, budget justifications, and acquisition documentation in coordination with acquisition and budget offices.
- Coordinate with current TAAMS vendor to identify issues, risks, and transition needs; maintain situational awareness for government task managers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent directly relevant experience.
- Master's Degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in management analysis, organizational improvement, or program support within a federal government or government contracting context.
- Demonstrated experience with federal IT system transitions, contract recompetes, or technology modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with federal trust, land, or tribal program operations is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting or advising on federal acquisition processes (FAR, IDIQ structures, labor-hour contracts).
