Solutions Engineer

• Deliver secure cloud hosted solutions into the public and private sectors
• research and develop high level and detailed solution designs

Lead Solution Architect

Architect

• Lead the technical architecture workstream for a complex re-procurement programme
• Conduct deep discovery and mapping of incumbent supplier services, platforms, and technology stack
• Analyse how services fit within the overall scope of the contract
• Lead the development of high-quality artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, service maps, and evaluation frameworks
• Provide architectural input into procurement documentation
• Support the creation of supplier briefing packs, evaluation rubrics, and scoring models
• Collaborate with commercial, legal, and operational stakeholders to ensure procurement alignment
• Lead and mentor a team of architects and systems analysts
• Facilitate knowledge transfer from incumbent suppliers

Managing Architect

• Act as Managing Architect passionate about digital, data and technology-led transformation
• Provide leadership throughout client engagements and act as Client CTO for assigned projects/services
• Support Client Delivery Director, Client Account Director and delivery team to ensure delivery against client deliverables and payment milestones
• Lead solution, data, cloud, service and security architects/engineers during design and delivery projects and services
• Deliver design documents and other key artefacts to support governance and delivery
• Influence stakeholders through excellent communication skills and collaborate across teams
• Build effective working relationships with delivery team members and Aker customers and operate without supervision as the technical lead across multiple projects and platforms
• Mentor less-experienced client team members as required
• Contribute to capability and growth activities when not on client work, supporting Sales and Product and helping grow existing accounts

QA Engineer

• Review requirements and technical designs to create effective and comprehensive test plans and cases
• Define and execute testing activities using BDD/TDD approaches to validate functional and non-functional requirements
• Conduct manual and automated testing of backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines
• Design and execute performance and regression tests
• Work collaboratively within cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Investigate and triage defects, work with developers to isolate issues, and verify fixes
• Generate clear and detailed test reports and documentation, including risks and mitigation strategies
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and frameworks

Senior QA Engineer

Full-stack Engineer

• Help lead the development of backend platforms and services for National Security and Defence clients leveraging commercial and open-source technologies in private and public cloud environments
• Design, develop, document, deploy and enhance features to platforms and services that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
• Actively participate in the team’s elaboration and estimation of user stories
• Build frequent, small releases to maintain the team’s momentum
• Collaborate closely with other engineers in cross-functional feature teams to ensure knowledge sharing and coverage
• Build, optimise and operate Continuous Deployment pipelines
• Maintain operational responsibility for the services that the team owns
• Support obtaining enhanced DV clearance and work on SC level tasks while eDV is processed

Lead Software Engineer, SC & eDV

Customer Support

• The Associate Business Support Specialist will work within the Business Support Team within our busy Customer Delivery Department providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the department.
• Maintaining the resourcing tracker and other records, data logs and filing systems to ensure information accuracy and accessibility
• Tracking resourcing requirements and metrics, including resource availability, and working with the TA team and HR to fulfil those requirements
• Overseeing the onboarding and offboarding of resources to client projects
• Supervising the completion and submission of weekly timesheets for internal and client reporting
• Building and maintaining good relationships with client PMO teams
• Supporting scheduling, meeting co-ordination and communication between departments
• Aiding in the preparation of project reports, including: status reports, month-end timesheets, tracking and analysis of budgetary information
• Supporting in the production of presentations and excel-based Management Information (MI) for senior management/stakeholders
• Working to reduce risks, issues and dependencies found within the Customer Office
• Collaborating with different teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Answering ad hoc queries from across the business
