About the role
- Scrub target market accounts for qualified contacts and research relevant market developments to tailor messaging.
- Strategize with marketing and sales teams to coordinate cold outreach and follow-up efforts with marketing campaigns and personal networks to maximize conversion rates.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, or inbound web inquiries to qualify and progress them through the sales funnel.
- Secure net new initial commercial meetings for Sales Directors by conducting cold calls and sending personalized follow-up emails.
- Attend select industry events and trade shows to support company Marketing strategy by generating leads and building relationships with prospects.
- Enter, update, and maintain prospect and customer information, outreach efforts, sales activities, and leads in Salesforce CRM system.
- Monitor marketing lead workqueues and evaluate qualified leads for commercial viability; surface operational bugs and inefficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or similar client-facing role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptable, professional, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Interest in making a big impact and growing your career in a high-growth startup
- Interest in or some knowledge of B2B SaaS sales
