About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead strategic programs from planning to sustainment
Maintain end-to-end accountability for program delivery
Report program benefits to Executive Sponsors and Governance Boards
Lead program definition, planning, scope, and execution
Monitor program health, anticipate risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans
Define integrated program plans, detailed work breakdown structures, and required deliverables
Identify program dependencies and interdependencies
Scope, size, and lead implementation of transformation and growth opportunities
Drive stakeholder alignment and communicate program status to executive sponsors and governance forums
Work independently in ambiguous circumstances to create clear paths forward
Adopt best-practice guidelines and implement continuous improvements to PMO processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field, or equivalent
Professional experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager in an IT organization
Sufficient technical background to provide credibility to technical teams and objectively evaluate risks and issues
Experience working on projects/programs supporting Enterprise Applications
Experience managing external implementation providers
Solid leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation and communication abilities
Successful track record of stakeholder management and leading communication across senior leadership and technical teams
