About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • managing a team of employees that supervises the activities of our Field Technician contractors in hyperscale pods across the United States
  • building relationships with third-party system integrators (SIs) used for deployment and maintenance activities as well as overseeing the work
  • building relationships with large-scale data center providers for new deployments and ongoing operations
  • conducting inventory control on local spare parts, including RMA coordination for defective parts
  • coordinating with Compliance team on access list management for assigned data centers
  • maintaining 24x7 staffing and escalation path to address network incidents and SLA adherence
  • evaluating and adapting our training curriculum to the specific needs of hyperscale pods
  • coordinating the staffing of Field Technicians at our hyperscale pods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, another related field or its equivalent experience
  • extensive experience working with data center vendors and the data center environment
  • track record of solid employee development and engagement
  • drive for process improvement
  • experience guiding teams through process changes and realignments
