About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Taking full ownership of a revenue plan focused on dynamic hunting within Canadian accounts
- Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business by leveraging Akamai's security and edge compute portfolio
- Delivering compelling value propositions through in-person meetings across Canada
- Acting as a trusted advisor and leading an integrated account team
- Championing and maintaining trusted, high-level relationships with key stakeholders and field teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12 years of relevant enterprise sales experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Consistent history of over-achieving quotas by selling enterprise-class security software, SaaS, or cloud-based technology solutions
- Significant experience hunting and closing business within the Canadian Telecom and Service Provider sector
- Well-versed in engaging and influencing stakeholders across the Canadian business landscape
- Deep understanding of the Canadian technology market and security challenges facing major domestic accounts.
