About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- maximizing revenue generation within your territory through selling into new accounts with the entire Akamai Portfolio
- articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers
- developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution
- working within partnerships across field marketing, sales representatives and resources to ensure a consultative engagement with customers
- managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- understanding of Internet performance, Internet Security, Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
- successful sales experience in SaaS, IaaS and solutions sales
- enterprise Domain Expertise - Infrastructure, applications, networking, or security background(s) in selling to senior executives
- high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower
