About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Owning the design, architecture, testing, and go-live technical aspects to ensure web, media, and security solutions
Being a proactive technical consultant and trusted advisor for our customers, delivering value with every engagement
Analyzing customer traffic and implementing Akamai security/delivery/compute solutions to address customers' security/delivery/compute needs
Delivering coaching and training to customers to ensure the value and usability of our products
Partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise during customer implementations
Leveraging Akamai tooling for technical implementation, automation, and enabling the use of APIs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in web applications, internet fundamentals, DNS, routing, and communication protocols
Demonstrate knowledge of the common OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet service compromise or attacks
Be familiar with scripting languages such as Python/PERL/JavaScript and JavaScript, and the overall DevOps framework & web development languages
Be proficient in one or more web development languages, methodologies, or architectures
Have exposure to Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Show expertise in a technical client-facing role
Display communication and presentation skills that allow you to articulate highly technical information concisely.
