About the role

  • Analyze the software running on production networks
  • Identify improvements and propose cost-cutting solutions
  • Collaborate throughout the organization to support multiple products
  • Deliver on the design of customer solutions
  • Investigate customer escalations and provide mitigation
  • Work on tooling to automate production debugging
  • Set up continuous production profiling and identify areas of cost reduction
  • Create and enhance features and functionality from conception to deployment
  • Validate results of cost reduction and provide benchmark results
  • Conduct code reviews and help optimize code
  • Work with development and system QA teams to create regression tests

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent experience
  • Active security clearance
  • Experience working in networking, cloud, or distributed computing environment
  • Experience programming with C++
  • Working knowledge with Linux or UNIX operating systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to write design documentation
