About the role
- Partnering with employees across GS to uncover, draft, and share news stories
- Gathering and analyzing communications metrics to improve work
- Creating and managing employee recognition programs
- Supporting planning and execution of quarterly All Hands meetings
- Managing internal comms collateral with governance and visibility
- Drafting announcements, executive presentations, and internal blog posts
- Participating in Akamai's Global Communications Network for alignment
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Eye for design and aptitude for using images and video for storytelling
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and track details
- Dedicated team player comfortable in a complex organization
- Previous exposure to intranet tools (ideal, but not required)
