Understand web security landscape
Run model optimization experiments
Suggest and optimize data streams, algorithms and approaches used for attack detection and mitigation
Determine practical constraints on the ML processes and heuristics running in Akamai cloud
Assess and analyze web traffic and attack patterns
Develop software tools to support AI/ML production system monitoring and prediction evaluations.

Requirements

Be pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related major and graduating after December 2026
Have experience with Unix/Linux command-line
Have hands-on knowledge on Python or Java, as well as Shell scripting
Be a self-starter with a curious mindset
Have knowledge of statistics, coursework in ML or related fields, regular expressions, Spark, and MLFlow
