About the role

  • Guide new customer sales by phone and support the full sales cycle
  • Generate new business through outbound calling, email, inbound inquiries, and supporting marketing events
  • Articulate the Akamai value proposition to generate interest and enthusiasm for solutions in the market
  • Collaborate on the development, execution, and maintenance of project documentation (executive summaries, reports, project plans, scope log, etc.)
  • Provide work direction for assigned projects, including assignment of work and follow up on the status of requests and tasks
  • Make sure cross-functional project teams are supported to achieve their tasks efficiently and effectively (i.e. removing roadblocks, etc.)
  • Support Sales Program management with the creation of presentations for various management and team meetings
  • Assist with analysis of existing processes and identification of opportunities to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Be pursuing a Bachelor's and returning to the program after completion of the internship
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse corporate and client environment
  • Have an advanced English level
  • Be a self-starter with a curious mindset
  • Be a problem solver with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose solutions
