About the role
- Ensuring customer success by understanding requirements, leveraging best practices and offering consulting services that meet customer needs
- Collaborating with integrated account team to evaluate customer web architecture, develop and deliver long-term security strategy and cloud solutions
- Working with security experts to solve technical problems, demonstrating Akamai's value, and communicating effectively with all audiences
- Participating in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality
Requirements
- Have 8+ years experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry and a Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma
- Have excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers
- Be familiar with security, delivery compute technology, process and concepts, security event management, or security compliance
- Have a proactive interest in learning and integrating new products and emerging security technologies
- Have knowledge of implementation concepts that deal with web development, IT systems or security practice
- Demonstrate knowledge of project management concepts and techniques
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask, adapt and thrive within an ever-changing environment
