About the role
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for component, integration, and system-level tests
- Collaborating to understand product architecture and features, developing automation strategies that support all levels of test types.
- Collaborating with test teams to integrate automated tests into suites and pipelines.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting test failures, identifying root causes, and working with development teams to resolve issues.
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and ensuring they run efficiently in the build pipeline.
- Participating in code reviews and design reviews to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and alignment with quality standards.
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience as an SDET or a similar role with a focus on automation and a bachelors degree
- Have proven experience in architecting and designing automation frameworks (Python, Java, etc.).
- Demonstrate experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.
- Have experience with networking and routing protocols (e.g. HTTP, TCP, UDP, BDP, GRE)
- Possess a solid understanding of testing frameworks such as PyTest, TestNG, Unittest, JUnit, NUnit, or similar.
- Have familiarity with DDoS attacks, mitigation techniques, and network security.
- Have experience with test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr, TestRail, Qase) and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
