About the role
- Building and nurturing both technical and executive relationships across the territory to influence preference for Akamai's solutions
- Delivering powerful proof-of-concepts, technical demonstrations, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams
- Diving into enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration
- Taking a consultative approach to solutions and solving customer challenges
- Educating and enabling internal teams and partners regarding our Enterprise solution portfolios to motivate effective sales strategies
- Influencing product roadmaps and ensuring the inclusion of business priorities and requirements of customers
Requirements
- 5 years of industry experience with at least 3 years in a pre-sales capacity handling enterprise accounts
- Hands-on experience with network, security and infrastructure technologies
- Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences
- Knowledge in Microsegmentation and/or Enterprise Browsers a plus
