About the role
- Building and executing the plan for high revenue growth
- Identifying, developing, and closing business at new and existing customers
- Creating alignment with partners and Akamai's field teams
- Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy
- Delivering joint value proposition through in-person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, trainings, and other events
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with partners and customers
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel to partner meetings and events as needed
- Proven successful sales track record and quota achievement
- Experience with channels sales management in Cybersecurity
- Business development or sales experience with channel partners
- Excellent negotiation, solution-selling, presentation, verbal and written skills
