About the role
- You will be responsible for embedding security into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle, enabling teams to ship quickly while maintaining security and compliance standards.
- This role partners closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to design, automate, and operate secure CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and runtime environments.
- Operating and continuously improving application and infrastructure security tooling, including SAST, DAST, cloud security platforms, and vulnerability management systems.
- Designing, maintain, and updating Terraform and infrastructure-as-code modules to comply with security best practices, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Building/owning security automation across the software release lifecycle, covering development, CI/CD, staging, and production environments, to proactively detect, prevent, and remediate risks.
- Integrating security best practices into core infrastructure components, including secrets management, least-privilege IAM, encrypted communication, and compliance readiness.
- Partnering with engineering, platform, and security teams to embed DevSecOps principles, reduce security friction, and continuously raise the organization's security maturity.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, operating production-grade systems at scale
- Demonstrate great proficiency in Linux/Unix environments, with hands-on experience in Terraform, Python, and shell scripting for automation and infrastructure management
- Possess experience designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes-based platforms, including large-scale containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Have hands-on experience migrating, building, and securing systems in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP or any other cloud
- Be highly responsible, self-managed, and self-motivated, with attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills, able to operate effectively with minimal supervision
