About the role

  • Drive the Enterprise Security agenda internally and externally
  • Collaborate with the wider Akamai team and channel partners to pursue and generate sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate Enterprise Domain Expertise in selling to senior executives

Requirements

  • Proven track record of creating interest and pipeline within new or existing accounts
  • Ability to articulate why customers have brought from Akamai through anecdotes or case-studies
  • Experience working with multiple teams including Sales, SE, Customer Success, Renewals and Customer Advocacy
  • Experience leading teams within a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Cybersecurity experience including WAF and API Security, Zero trust technologies such as SASE and Micro Segmentation (ex. Cisco Tetration, VMware NSX), Firewall.
