About the role

  • Identify, analyze and prioritize requirements together with stakeholders, documenting them as user stories or use cases
  • Take responsibility for requirements analysis and provide functional support for internal product integrations as well as customer projects
  • Plan and lead workshops, interviews and analysis sessions to develop optimal solutions
  • Create process flows, data models and functional specifications as the basis for software solutions
  • Work closely with developers, software architects and testers to clarify requirements and ensure technical feasibility
  • Support functional validation and assist with User Acceptance Testing to ensure quality of deliverables
  • Act as the communication interface between clients, product management and development
  • Provide mentoring for (junior) business analysts and contribute to cross-team coordination and the professional and architectural advancement of the organization in a senior role

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer or in a similar role—ideally in the financial sector or consulting (at least 5 years of experience)
  • Knowledge of, or strong interest in, Wealth Management, investment processes (e.g., investment advisory) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, ESG)
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and with modern collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Technical understanding and interest in topics such as Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), REST APIs, data integration and system architectures
  • Very good communication skills in English—German skills are a strong plus
  • Independent, structured and reliable working style combined with team spirit and an international mindset
  • Experience in mentoring or coaching and in influencing cross-functional decisions (in a senior role)
