Operations

• Work with customers to qualify shipping requirements and obtain necessary regulations, certificates and documentation for quotations and operations
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately
• Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports to verify loading, departures, and arrivals
• Coordinate day-to-day import and export of products including reviewing orders and documents
• Track and communicate delays, damages and problems and resolve customer issues
• Responsible for customer service, data entry of shipments, operations and billing
• Manage tracking to ensure shipments move as scheduled and update system upon verification
• Identify and rectify schedule deviations and coordinate recovery/delivery with cartage agents and international partners
• Partner with local sales teams and international partners to communicate problems to customers and other stations
• Ensure customers' SOPs are adhered to and AIT KPIs and guidelines are met
• Ensure shipments are properly billed within company guidelines and timelines and network with departments to bill and post files prior to month end
• Process and comply with all regulatory agency requirements
• Continuous learning through compliance training and certifications of software and regulations
• Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Contribute to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe or unhealthy conditions
