Work with customers to qualify shipping requirements and obtain necessary regulations, certificates and documentation for quotations and operations
Prepare profitable quotations accurately
Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, deliverers, and ports to verify loading, departures, and arrivals
Coordinate day-to-day import and export of products including reviewing orders and documents
Track and communicate delays, damages and problems and resolve customer issues
Responsible for customer service, data entry of shipments, operations and billing
Manage tracking to ensure shipments move as scheduled and update system upon verification
Identify and rectify schedule deviations and coordinate recovery/delivery with cartage agents and international partners
Partner with local sales teams and international partners to communicate problems to customers and other stations
Ensure customers' SOPs are adhered to and AIT KPIs and guidelines are met
Ensure shipments are properly billed within company guidelines and timelines and network with departments to bill and post files prior to month end
Process and comply with all regulatory agency requirements
Continuous learning through compliance training and certifications of software and regulations
Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Contribute to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe or unhealthy conditions
Requirements
High School Degree or equivalent
Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
Team player who works well with others
Customer service focus
Resolves non-routine problems with specialized knowledge
Applies fundamental concepts and exercises judgment within defined procedures
Utilizes established procedures but decides action within task
Ability to perform in a fast pace / high volume work environment
Attention to detail

Fluent oral and written English
Additional major European languages would be an asset
Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferred
Cargo Wise Software experience a plus
ITAR, Dangerous Goods or TSA work experience / regulations
