Provide transportation services of all modes to a Global Key account including quoting, commencement in AIT systems, procurement, dispatch and conclusion/invoicing of shipments
Act as the primary contact for designated customers and manage assigned projects
Track and trace shipments daily and maintain notes and correct status codes in AIT systems
Work closely with customer service teammates to provide turnover coverage during nights and weekends
Quote and route freight across domestic and international transportation modes and services
Answer phone calls and respond to e-mails in a timely manner (mailbox replies/actions within 1 hour)
Manage daily tracking worksheet, resolve anomalies and proactively inform customers of issues
Assist local sales and other offices with freight issues
Collect, scan, and file all paperwork daily
Ensure customers' and company's SLA’s, KPI’s & SOP’s are adhered to
Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with laws and regulations when applicable
Contribute to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and improvements
Requirements
Associates Degree or equivalent
3-5 years of experience (minimum 3 years)
Experience in international operations is mandatory
Freight forwarding experience preferred
Special expertise in international air operations
Experience with QMS compliance
Ocean service liaison experience and report generation
Ability to quote and route freight across multiple transportation modes
Ability to execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations (as applicable)
Strong customer service, vendor/agent relations, tracking & tracing, and problem resolution skills
Proficient with shipment commencement, procurement, dispatch, and invoicing processes
