About the role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients within your portfolio to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services within your client portfolio.
- Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to the needs of your client portfolio.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by your clients promptly and effectively.
- Support and proactively consult existing customers as well as further develop the professional cooperation.
- Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to managing your portfolio.
- Support sales and pricing in the preparation of offers, fee calculations and pricing negotiations.
- Ensure regular review meetings take place with your clients and share data with key stakeholders and management.
- Support operational team with the implementation of new customers and support in the integration of clients after mergers or acquisitions.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in account management or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the industry and the specific needs of special accounts.
- Fluent oral and written English is a must, Dutch is beneficial.
- Competitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.
- Self-motivated individual experienced in making and implementing decisions.
- Strong customer and service orientation.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
- Willingness to travel around 20%.
- 5 volunteer hours a year to give back to the community in a charitable event.
