About the role

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients within your portfolio to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services within your client portfolio.
  • Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to the needs of your client portfolio.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by your clients promptly and effectively.
  • Support and proactively consult existing customers as well as further develop the professional cooperation.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to managing your portfolio.
  • Support sales and pricing in the preparation of offers, fee calculations and pricing negotiations.
  • Ensure regular review meetings take place with your clients and share data with key stakeholders and management.
  • Support operational team with the implementation of new customers and support in the integration of clients after mergers or acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in account management or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the industry and the specific needs of special accounts.
  • Fluent oral and written English is a must, Dutch is beneficial.
  • Competitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.
  • Self-motivated individual experienced in making and implementing decisions.
  • Strong customer and service orientation.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
  • Willingness to travel around 20%.
