About the role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for both embedded lending/Lending-as-a-Service and first-party lending products
- Create and implement business plans to establish and scale the lending and credit product line
- Partner with global commercial teams and key customers to understand critical customer problems
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with the credit risk team to develop and implement credit risk policies
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the SME banking and embedded lending sectors
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing cross-functional team
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience in fintech, financial services, or professional services with financial product ownership
- Proven track record of building, scaling, and managing lending products
- Deep expertise in embedded lending solutions and first-party lending products
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Experience sourcing, negotiating, and securing capital and credit facilities
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities
- Excellent financial management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
