About the role
- Operate as the technical partner to Growth, Marketing, Sales and Data Science leaders
- Lead and mentor the team in applying data science techniques
- Establish insight-driven approaches to address key business problems
- Build scalable measurement frameworks for data-driven decision making
- Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Translate business problems into clearly defined data science initiatives
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists and act as technical owner
Requirements
- 7+ years industry experience in a quantitative field
- Proven experience mentoring or leading data science or data analytics teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience applying data science to drive growth initiatives
- Strong skills in SQL and Python/R
- Experience with data modeling is a plus
- Experience in technology, financial services and/or a high growth environment is advantageous
