About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide an excellent and comprehensive support to the outside sales force
Act as the liaison for the sales representatives and other internal departments
Submit quotes, track orders and deliveries, enter and update contracted pricing
Provide timely research/resolution to customer issues and requests for information
Foster excellent level of customer service via telephone, email, fax, or in person
Daily communication with sales force regarding quotes, order status, deliveries, back orders and issues pending
Complete customer follow up on quotes, inquiries, order status, deliveries and issues resolved
Participate in special projects relating to pricing, inventory, or sales

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent
A proven track record in cultivating customer relationships and managing high-volume communication
Strong skills in crafting correspondence and routine reports
A natural passion for supporting and connecting with customers
Strong skills in fostering alignment and building relationships across diverse groups at all organizational levels
3 years of collaborative administrative experience supporting a sales staff (preferred)
Knowledge of welding, industrial gases, and safety equipment applications (preferred)
G-Suite (Google Applications) experience (helpful)
SAP knowledge (welcomed asset)
