About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develops and executes sales plans utilizing Airgas’s sales directives and guidelines
Cultivates customer relationships by developing knowledge of the customer’s business
Engages customers by linking business priorities to Airgas value proposition
Prepares sales proposals by quoting pricing and establishing credit terms
Keeps current with industry insights and monitors competition
Partners with internal resources to accomplish growth objectives
Maintains and submits sales reports as required by District Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a science, business or related field required
In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 4 years of additional related experience may be accepted
A minimum of 3 years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience
Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas / welding supply sales a plus
Proven success using a consultative sales approach
Working knowledge of SAP a plus
Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, minimum liability insurance as required by state of vehicle registration
