About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the supply chain plan for ammonia and related products.
- Manage all aspects of the company fleet, including setting driver staffing targets.
- Evaluate transportation modes (rail, trucking) and overseeing equipment purchases and utilization.
- Support financial planning requirements (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).
- Conduct analytics for optimal forecasting and fleet management.
- Communicate plans and cost positions to Operations and Sales.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience (supply chain / logistics / operations/ sales).
- Knowledge of fundamentals of bulk chemical distribution and related cost analysis.
- Advanced computer skills, including an understanding of Purchasing, Inventory and Data Warehouse systems.
- Excellent quantitative / analytical skills, including scenario / what-if modeling using spreadsheets and/or linear optimization tools.
- A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
- Strong communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating.
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes.
- Availability to travel up to 40%.
