About the role

  • Manage and grow key client relationships in the welding and industrial gases sector
  • Drive revenue growth by understanding customer needs and providing comprehensive solutions
  • Pursue and acquire new competitive accounts emphasizing metal fabrication business
  • Develop and negotiate contracts integrating requirements with business operations
  • Submit sales activity reports to the Regional President regularly
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
  • Display or demonstrate products to customers and emphasize features
  • Act as liaison between customer and company regarding pricing, products, and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (required): Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Engineering (especially Mechanical, Industrial, or Welding Engineering), or a related technical field
  • Technical Expertise: Welding Processes, Cutting Processes, Robotic and Automated Welding, Welding Metallurgy, Industrial Gases, Gas Applications, Gas Delivery Systems, Safety Protocols, Hard Goods (Welding Equipment & Consumables), Automation & Robotics
  • Master's Degree (preferred/a plus): An MBA or a Master's in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Certifications (beneficial): AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified Sales Professional (CSP), or other industry-specific certifications
