About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As part of the Support & Services Directorate, the MS&L organization’s objective is to deliver all spare parts and repair solutions that enable our customers’ missions.
  • With average manufacturing or repair lead times of several months, anticipating needs is key to ensuring the stocks and resources required so our customers are not kept waiting.
  • You will join the team responsible for forecasting global customer demand for new and repaired spare parts.
  • You will be the Program Forecast Officer in charge of a fleet and will be responsible for forecasting all scheduled removals, potential failures and the new parts operators will need over the next five years.
  • You will learn to use statistical and deterministic methods, and will also manage technical events (Service Bulletins, retrofits, obsolescence, etc.) to determine the appropriate forecast level.
  • The forecasts you produce will be used to size inventories and logistics flows to meet our parts availability commitments.
  • Define workload plans for internal production and repair workshops, as well as for our suppliers and external repair partners.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects.
  • Prepare quarterly S&OP reviews to enable top management to make strategic decisions for the next five years.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong data analysis and synthesis skills
  • Knowledge of forecasting models or a foundation in statistics and probability
  • Interest in helicopter operations and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced English (transnational FR/DE team + collaboration with subsidiaries outside Europe)
  • Rigorous, reliable and well organized
  • Curious and analytical
  • Agile and proactive with a strong sense of initiative
  • Comfortable communicating, able to build trusted relationships and work effectively in a team
