About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, test, and maintain ABAP code and produce technical documentation.
Collaborate closely with Key Users and Service Owners while applying Airbus development standards and SAP best practices.
Perform root-cause analysis and drive improvements in quality, performance, and security.
Contribute to S/4HANA strategies and ensure compliance with the Change Management process.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior developers within the department.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in IT (or equivalent) with 10+ years of hands-on ABAP programming experience (S/4HANA experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of OO-ABAP, Adobe Forms, DDIC, BAPIs, IDocs, OData, Web Services, and the Enhancement Framework.
Experience with core SAP modules (e.g., FI-CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM); SAP certifications are a plus.
Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, team spirit, and willingness/ability to coach new colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in German (C2) and English are required.
