About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and maintain ABAP code and produce technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Key Users and Service Owners while applying Airbus development standards and SAP best practices.
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive improvements in quality, performance, and security.
- Contribute to S/4HANA strategies and ensure compliance with the Change Management process.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior developers within the department.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in IT (or equivalent) with 10+ years of hands-on ABAP programming experience (S/4HANA experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of OO-ABAP, Adobe Forms, DDIC, BAPIs, IDocs, OData, Web Services, and the Enhancement Framework.
- Experience with core SAP modules (e.g., FI-CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM); SAP certifications are a plus.
- Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, team spirit, and willingness/ability to coach new colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in German (C2) and English are required.
