About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and Validation of composites/hybrids components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured
  • Structural definition and architecture of Airframe components
  • Components Documentation for Manufacturing and assembling
  • Mechanical Planning and follow up of structural design deliverables
  • Components Specification for purchasing
  • Concurrent Engineering with Manufacturing, Structural Analysis, Systems installations, Structural tests, Materials and Processes and Services Supportability Engineers.
  • Interfacing with external customers, partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project follow-up meetings.
  • Preparation of structural design documents to support certification.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial (Mechanics)
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as Engineer / Designer on aircraft Structural Design activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in composite structures.
  • Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools and Configuration methods.
  • Experience in Checking/ Approval of Structural Design within Design Organization Technical signature delegation
  • Usual back office tools (use of MS Office is required)
  • Experience in generating and reviewing structures design documents to support certification: Structural Description, Modification Technical Definition and Repercussion, Materials and processes selection and corrosion protection plan.
  • Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player

  • Good communication skills
  • Agility to incorporate changes and collaborate in multidisciplinary team.
  • Listening and communication skills
  • English: Negotiation level
