Key responsibilities & impact

Design and Validation of composites/hybrids components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured
Structural definition and architecture of Airframe components
Components Documentation for Manufacturing and assembling
Mechanical Planning and follow up of structural design deliverables
Components Specification for purchasing
Concurrent Engineering with Manufacturing, Structural Analysis, Systems installations, Structural tests, Materials and Processes and Services Supportability Engineers.
Interfacing with external customers, partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and Project follow-up meetings.
Preparation of structural design documents to support certification.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial (Mechanics)
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as Engineer / Designer on aircraft Structural Design activities.
Knowledge and experience in composite structures.
Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools and Configuration methods.
Experience in Checking/ Approval of Structural Design within Design Organization Technical signature delegation
Usual back office tools (use of MS Office is required)
Experience in generating and reviewing structures design documents to support certification: Structural Description, Modification Technical Definition and Repercussion, Materials and processes selection and corrosion protection plan.
Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player

Good communication skills
Agility to incorporate changes and collaborate in multidisciplinary team.
Listening and communication skills
English: Negotiation level
