About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are the developer of our entire application ecosystem – from the backend to the cockpit.
As a (Senior) Full-Stack Software Engineer, you are responsible for the (architecture and) development of the (business-critical) applications that bring our AI to life.
You are responsible for the entire technical stack, from designing robust backend microservices to developing sophisticated (autonomous) edge applications.
Your work transforms complex AI technology into a manageable and powerful tool, thus creating the autonomous software application.
You work across the full stack and ensure the seamless integration of edge device, backend and infrastructure.
You mentor other engineers on best practices for software design, clean code and system architecture.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree in Computer Science or equivalent (for the Senior position, ideally a Master's degree or PhD).
Excellent programming skills in a modern backend language (e.g., Python, Go) as well as in edge application development (C++).
Hands-on experience building distributed systems, developing APIs and working with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Senior level: several years of relevant professional experience and a proven track record of implementing complex technical architectures or providing technical leadership in a fast-paced technology environment.
An eye for good design and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences.
A strong commitment to quality and the motivation to take ownership of the entire application.
Fluent in German and English.
