About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for the “Bird of Prey” program, encompassing all subsystems; ensure alignment with business objectives, market needs, and technological trends.
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Continuously evaluate and prioritize product features and improvements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and the competitive landscape.
  • Identify and assess new product opportunities, technologies, and strategic partnerships to expand the portfolio and secure Airbus’s competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate closely with internal functions (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Senior Management) to ensure consistent alignment on the product vision and successful market introduction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with substantial experience in product or portfolio management.
  • Proven experience developing product strategies and roadmaps, ideally in defense technology, aerospace, or other safety-critical systems.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, competitive landscapes, and customer needs in the unmanned systems sector (UAV/C‑UAV).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present complex technical issues in a strategic manner.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working in agile environments; excellent written and spoken English.
