About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technical sales support for our product portfolio (including TETRA-, 4G- and 5G-based communication systems as well as software-based Push-to-Talk solutions)
Designing and adapting solutions based on existing products, including deriving customer requirements and handing them over to internal development teams
Close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Development, Rollout and Support to define technical feasibility
Conducting customer meetings, workshops, product demos and technical presentations in national and international settings
Acting as an intermediary between customers and internal departments: technical consulting, translating technical requirements and ensuring structured communication
Supporting tenders, technical proposals and specifications
Monitoring market and technology trends, particularly in military communication systems, NATO standards and safety-critical applications
Participation in trade shows, specialist conferences and international project meetings
Exchange and alignment with European sister projects, especially in military or security-relevant contexts

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a comparable technical discipline
Solid knowledge of communication systems: TETRA, 4G, 5G, IP-based radio networks and network architectures
Programming skills, ideally in Java or related technologies
Experience in public safety organizations (authorities and organizations with security tasks - BOS) or in a military context (Bundeswehr, NATO) is an advantage
Strong ability to communicate technical content clearly and in a customer-focused manner
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally across Europe
High self-motivation, a structured working style and strong team skills
Confident presenter with a strong interest in direct customer contact
