About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a visionary to proactively help define the direction of future IT Products & Services and validate software designs.
Collaborate with other architects, systems analysts and developers to deliver the highest-quality solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
Define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions.
Participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle: research and design, development, testing, deployment and support.
Align the architecture strategy with business objectives and the IT organization’s long-term strategic planning.
Perform technical and functional design of application and infrastructure components for new solutions in accordance with the defined functional design.
Provide expertise on business processes and change management.
Contribute innovative ideas and support continuous service improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in IT Solution Architecture or a similar role.
Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design principles.
Experience with SAP technologies, particularly in the context of Quality Management (QM), data management and S/4HANA.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies.
Experience in data management architecture and understanding of the technical context (SAP + cloud solutions / AWS).
Ability to define the most appropriate technical framework to support business needs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to represent the Quality PSL to other functions and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
Ability to challenge requirements and prioritize backlog items.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to translate abstract concepts into well-documented, pragmatic solutions.
Good command of the English language.
