Supply Chain & Quality Manager – Cockpit & Avionics Equipment
AirbusSupply Chain Quality Manager responsible for overseeing Avionics & Cockpit Tier 1 suppliers for Airbus aircraft. Ensuring on-time delivery and quality while managing supplier relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for significant Avionics & Cockpit Tier 1 supplier(s) and accountable for ensuring on time delivery and on quality of equipment & systems for Airbus Aircraft.
- Daily contact with suppliers, their wider supply chain management team, and internal customers (located in North America and Europe).
- Ensure maturity and robustness of Equipment & Systems Supplier’s manufacturing and supply chain processes to avoid supply failures.
- Monitor and analyze performance through Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a procurement operations environment (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent.
- Preferred: 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Preferred: Green Belt/Black Belt certification, CPIM certification (Certified in Production & Inventory Management).
- English (Reading – Speaking – Writing: Fluent/Negotiation).
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
