About the role
- Model development: Designing, implementing, and training state-of-the-art ML models, with a focus on computer vision and sensor fusion
- Data infrastructure: Designing and building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for real-time processing of multimodal sensor data
- Platform management: Optimizing our central data lake/warehouse to ensure data availability, quality, and security
- MLOps & integration: Strategically advancing automated pipelines for seamless integration of models into our CI/CD systems
- Taking technical ownership of the entire intelligence ecosystem (for senior profiles)
- Mentoring team members and establishing software development best practices
- Translating strategic objectives into elegant, robust technical architectures
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Solid experience (approx. 4–8 years) in developing deep learning models and in data engineering
- Proven track record over several years in designing and operating large-scale, mission-critical ML systems
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL
- Deep knowledge of PyTorch and data tools such as Spark or Databricks
- Proactive, solution-oriented working style with a commitment to continuously raising the technical bar
- Fluent English and German language skills
