About the role
- Studying and completing CAA Part 66 aviation engineering module examinations and aviation engineering practical tasks of the apprenticeship standard on time
- Developing Mechanical helicopter maintenance and rectification knowledge, skills and safe systems of work
- Recording, collating evidence of maintenance and rectification activities suitable for the engineering apprenticeship standard
- Working at height, manual handling, handling substances hazardous to health and working in confined areas
- Required to assist in day to day running of the Hangars, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities
Requirements
- English, Maths and Science (Physics) GCSEs
- BTEC or A levels if applicable
- Overall score of 18 or more preferred
- Must demonstrate right to work in the UK
