About the role

  • Studying and completing CAA Part 66 aviation engineering module examinations and aviation engineering practical tasks of the apprenticeship standard on time
  • Developing Mechanical helicopter maintenance and rectification knowledge, skills and safe systems of work
  • Recording, collating evidence of maintenance and rectification activities suitable for the engineering apprenticeship standard
  • Working at height, manual handling, handling substances hazardous to health and working in confined areas
  • Required to assist in day to day running of the Hangars, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities

Requirements

  • English, Maths and Science (Physics) GCSEs
  • BTEC or A levels if applicable
  • Overall score of 18 or more preferred
  • Must demonstrate right to work in the UK
