About the role

  • Support in designing station and manufacturing process changes
  • Preparation of technical specifications considering product requirements and applicable processes/regulations
  • Conduct technical analyses related to adherence to part tolerances in the manufacturing process (especially drilling processes / clamping lengths)
  • Support annual audit preparation
  • Gap analysis of existing work instructions against applicable regulations / continuous participation in process focal rounds
  • Gap analyses for process changes including action tracking for deviations to ensure conformity
  • Coordination of corrective actions in the event of audit findings, if they occur
  • Creation of documentation and ensuring traceability of conformity evidence within Production Process Verifications (PPV)

Requirements

  • Knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering or comparable degree programs
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas mentioned above
  • Knowledge and experience in assembly processes
  • Solid knowledge of conformity evidence within Production Process Verifications (PPV) and their practical application, D2R.03.02.01 Routing Process
  • Experience creating PFMEA
  • Knowledge of Airbus Process Specification, Airbus Process Instructions
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
