About the role
- Serve as the primary technical expert for the Airbus SAP BI platform
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on effective utilization of SAP BI
- Design and architect scalable data solutions leveraging SAP BI platforms
- Lead technical integration of SAP BI with other enterprise systems
- Monitor and optimize performance of SAP BI environments
- Define and enforce best practices for developing solutions on SAP BI
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with central Airbus SAP BI teams
- Ensure adherence to security policies and data governance regulations
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to SAP BI
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Proven and deep hands-on experience (typically 5+ years) with SAP BI platforms in a complex enterprise environment
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, LSA++ architectures, computing platforms and data integration tools
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to data processing and analysis (e.g., ABAP, SQL)
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in data processing pipelines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Understanding of the aviation or aerospace industry is a plus
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French is advantageous
