About the role
- Perform vibration and shock tests of all types on TESAT test specimens and external customer specimens using in-house electrodynamic shaker systems
- Mount test specimens on the system according to specimen-specific procedures and engineering drawings
- Implement electrical control/actuation of test specimens
- Execute test sequences according to specimen-specific procedures and general requirements
- Evaluate test results for plausibility and document tests
- Assess test specifications for feasibility with available equipment
- Create equipment and specimen parameterization based on test specifications
- Create and track failure reports
- Provide technical support regarding the test system and test execution
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance of the vibration systems
- Provide measurement-technical and organizational support for conducting vibration tests on TESAT specimens at external test houses using electrodynamic shaker systems
- Support continuous optimization of the test process to achieve efficient, continuous, and smooth throughput of devices
Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechatronics or technician with relevant professional experience or equivalent background
- Experience in vibration testing and test systems as well as measurement technology is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English
- Independent working style, team player, with commitment and willingness to learn
- Strong quality awareness
