About the role
- Form close working relationships with Airbus Engineering, Programme Management, Quality, FAL customers and sub-assembly fit-sites, and suppliers
- Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions
- Assess suppliers during the tendering phase and contribute to the selection decision
- Manage supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and on Cost when applicable) performance
- Manage supplier quality Approval/Authorization, ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Travel worldwide to Airbus and suppliers facilities
- Be accountable for the industrial maturity of a group of fuel system suppliers, enabling quick and strong growth in terms of leadership skills, stakeholder management and product knowledge
Requirements
- SECURITY CLEARANCE : You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check)
- English language at negotiation level
- other languages would be an advantage
- Problem solving skills
- Project and stakeholder management
- Experience in either engineering, procurement operations, manufacturing, production and quality backgrounds
- Degree level qualification is desirable, but not essential
