About the role
- Develop supplier activities
- Involved in securing aircraft deliveries on-time, with perfect quality
- Weekly travel to Airbus suppliers & their subtiers
- Conduct short-term assessments to long-term complex supply chain or quality management issues
- Autonomy and a self-starting mentality based on gemba walks, collaboration, and problem-solving
Requirements
- A Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of eight (8) years in professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Program Management
- Must have demonstrable experience applying quality management tools/techniques
- Supplier Recovery and Crisis Management
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Six Sigma
- Practical Problem Solving
- Lean methodologies
- Transfers of Work between Production sites and/or to other countries
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
