About the role

  • Implement L2 (system) and L3 (software) requirements into valid test cases and test procedures for software and system integration
  • Translate hardware-specific integration requirements into valid test cases and test procedures for conducting hardware integration tests
  • Execute test cases and test procedures in integration and reference facilities and, where applicable, at customer sites, including evaluation of test results
  • Create and review required test documentation (test procedures, test cases, problem reports, test reports) for test campaigns
  • Support activities in the area of test automation

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Automotive or a similar discipline
  • Solid knowledge of software and system testing, preferably in C2, ISR, Battle Management or comparable systems (ISTQB® certification would be desirable)
  • Strong experience with requirements and test management and test execution tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS, Micro Focus Octane/Quality Center, QFTest, Jira/Confluence, etc.)
  • Experience in test automation (desirable)
  • Team player who enjoys contributing to an international team and is comfortable working in a multi-project environment
  • Good German and English language skills
